The Manipur government restored internet services in the state on Sunday, barring 2 km stretches in conflict zones lying along the inter-district borders of nine districts. The government said the decision has been taken considering the improvement in the law and order situation and "inconveniences faced by the general public due to the long duration of such suspension". The government cautioned all internet users "to refrain from activities which may cause situations which will warrant suspension of internet services in future".
